With the handy and wireless mioty® SOS button, employees (e.g. in public authorities) can discreetly make an emergency call in the event of a threat and quickly request help. The SOS button sends the threat alarm wirelessly via mioty® to the associated base station and from there to the alarm platform. Thanks to the personalized information, the right action is initiated immediately and automatically, such as alerting third parties or calling security or ambulance services.
The SOS button is a compact, handy emergency call button. It can either be worn on the body or attached to a stationary device – under the desk, for example. If a consultation gets out of hand and the employee feels threatened, they can press the SOS button unnoticed and make an emergency call. The call is acknowledged by vibration. The alarm is transmitted wirelessly via mioty® to the base station and from there to the alarm platform via the Internet. Depending on requirements, colleagues, the security service and/or external emergency services can be notified via the software’s automatic forwarding function.
With a size of 90 x 44 x 22 mm, the SOS button is handy, solid and waterproof/dustproof (IP67). It is easy to install and can also be taken along thanks to wireless communication.
With the wireless mioty communication technology, extensive areas (with poor mobile phone coverage) can be covered and high building penetration (down to the basement) can be achieved at low investment costs with the wireless mioty technology.
The SOS button gives employees a sense of security in their working environment. If a threatening situation arises, they can call for help quickly and unnoticed at any time.
