Mioty® m.YON

Small and flexible – for the most demanding IoT applications

Swissphone’s mioty® endpoint module has been developed for applications that require optimal budget for bidirectional connections while minimizing external bill of materials (BOM) costs. The module’s compact size and flexible RF connection enable easy integration on a wide range of IoT boards with integrated or external antennas. The module is pre-installed with Swissphone’s mioty® firmware, which offers serial AT protocol via UART or binary SPI access.

  • Radio protocol: compliant with ETSI TS103357 TS-UNB / mioty alliance CVT – Compact SoC solution based on Silicon Labs EFR32FG14 radio
  • Flexible RF interface (PCB direct / U.FL) – Dual-mode host interface (AT UART / SPI binary)
  • EU868 class A modem stack pre-installed with bootloader
  • Variant for class Z / US915W / IN866 on request

Mioty® is a Low-Power-Wide-Area-Network (LPWAN) technology that uses Telegram Splitting to achieve high resistance to interference with radio transmissions from other radio sources in a dense, uncontrolled ISM environment. This makes mioty® an extremely robust and resilient LPWAN connection, with excellent network coverage, energy efficiency and scalability that are also suitable for mobile applications. What’s more, mioty® incorporates advanced security features for today’s most demanding IoT and industrial IoT (IIoT) applications.
