Room-Accurate Position Transmitter for Ex Zone 1
The safety solution for lone workers in hazardous areas. The ecom® Loc-Ex transmits emergency calls and enables immediate positioning of the casualty.
With the ecom® Loc-Ex, Swissphone offers a beacon that sends out a signal at periodic intervals and can be used in hazardous areas. The beacon supports wireless communication, which is compatible with current smartphones, among others, and detects this device at a distance of up to 30 metres in the building. Swissphone’s personal emergency signal devices can evaluate the radio signals and interact in emergency situations with the Swissphone SOS Portal, where the building plan is stored. This works with a range of up to 30 metres in buildings and up to 200 metres outdoors, depending on the building structure and buildings.

Can be used in gas Ex zone 1/ 21 according to ATEX / IECEx zone. A version for non-hazardous areas is also available.
